TESTIMONIALS
We have since experienced a melting thaw that would normally have sent us to the basement with mops, and there was no leaking at all. The work is guaranteed for 15 years, and we know that they would return to fix it if problems should develop in the future.

The project took one week to complete which was the projection when the project began. The company stayed on schedule even with losing 1 & 1/2 days of work due to heavy rain. All of the workers were very respectful of my property as well as that of my neighbor. They cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job.

From start to finish, the work and the team were just outstanding. We could tell we were being well
taken care of immediately. They cleaned up and left the place in great order. The guys were really nice and respectful as well.

Clark Waterproofing did my neighbor’s basement across the street about 5 years ago she is still dry! Great work in St. Clair Shores.

Daniel N.

Mark and his crew do a real nice job. I was doing only about a half a dozen basement waterproof jobs a year until I retired a couple of years ago, Clark is who I recommend now.

Jim M.

Clark did a fantastic job on our house in St. Clair Shores and our house in Chesterfield! We were very impressed. You couldn’t even tell anything was ever dug up after you left. I highly and enthusiastically recommend them! That’s back breaking labor, Mark knows how to work his guys!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's wrong with interior waterproofing?

Interior waterproofing doesn’t address the root cause of the leaks, and that’s the exterior pressure. Relieving the pressure from the outside and putting a layor of tar over the current cracks prevent water from getting back into the wall and expanding the cracks that allow water into your basement.

Can Clark waterproof under decks and cement?

Yes! We’ll cut or break away only the space we need to waterproof. We’ll replace and repair any changes we make for our work!

Do you install water management systems?

No, we don’t. Water management systems don’t solve the problem. Your foundation walls will continue to crack and leak, you just won’t notice it. Not to mention, the work required for it in your basement will tear up your floors and drywall.

Why Clark?

We have been in business for over 65 years. We do waterproofing the right way – from the exterior.

How much does Clark cost?

Clark doesn’t have a uniform pricing structure, because the work is almost never uniform. We evaluate the work that needs to be performed and give you a free estimate for services provided!

What are warning signs I should look for?

You’ll know when you need waterproofing if you see any of the following:

  • Dry Rot
  • Mold/Mildew Buildup
  • Cracks in Foundation
  • Water Seepage
  • Rust on Metal Appliances and Fixtures
